LESLIE WEISBERG

Leslie Weisberg is out to change our experience of search. Her start-up, Perseev, is a digital news and information aggregator offering integrative engagement with curated picture content sourced from trustworthy publishers. Using pictures instead text, Perseev reimagines the way we search to discover and consume content, disrupting the space between news and social media.
Leslie attended Phillips Exeter Academy and Barnard College, Columbia University where she studied political science and international affairs. She worked for New York Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan and PBS’s The News Hour before pivoting into the film industry where she collaborated on numerous big-budget Hollywood movies including When a Man Loves a Woman, Message in a Bottle and Angel Eyes.
Leslie’s interests include politics, policy and community. She sits on the Planning and Land Use Committee, as well as a subsidiary Ad-Hoc Planning and Land Use Committee and the Transportation Committees of The Bel Air Beverly Crest Neighborhood Council. She’s a member of the Pacific Council on International Policy and serves in numerous spouse leadership capacities in Young President’s Organization (YPO). Leslie is married to Jim Hyman and is the mother of twin 20-year-old sons.
