Pushing Forward: Steps Taken by Los Angeles Planning Commission for Tighter Rules to Curb Mansionization

On Thursday, July 14th, at City Hall, the Los Angeles City Planning Commission voted to support proposed changes that would eliminate some of the “loopholes” that allow for large structures to be built on modestly-sized lots. The proposed changes still must be reviewed by a City Council committee and approved by the council before they can become law.
