Update: Second Dwelling Units (SDU) - "Granny Flats" to be voted by City Council on Wednesday, August 31st

CONCERN FOR OUR COMMUNITY:   This Wednesday, August 31, 2016, the Los Angeles City Council is to vote on the motion to legalize Second Dwelling Unit — also known as “Granny Flats” — across the City to state standards which allow for SDU’s of up to 1200 square feet with no minimum lot size requirements and which will essentially rezone R1/single family neighborhoods into multi-family duplex properties.
