Home damaged by fire on Thurston Circle

It took 80 minutes for 73 LAFD firefighters to aggressively battle and knocked-down a structure fire at 11548 Thurston Circle on Thursday, April 19, 2018.  Firefighters used helicopter water air drops to battle the blaze and to prevent it from spreading to surrounding brush that would have immediately threatened two other homes.  Fire stations that responded were LAFD 109, 37, 19, 92, 69, 71, 90, and 99.

The Bel-Air Association would like to extend their condolences to the residents on the damage to their home, as well as state their gratitude and appreciation to our LAFD firefighters for the quick and aggressive response.
