Summer Events at the Getty Villa

Every Saturday and Sunday through September 3, travel back in time at the Roman Holidays celebrationDiscover the sights (and smells!) of ancient Rome, offer your prayers to Venus, read your future in a sheep’s liver, and enjoy live musical and comedy performances by this historically hysterical Troubadour Theater Company.

Every Thursday and Saturday at 1pm, enjoy Tea by the Sea, a special dining experience inspired by the Mediterranean herbs, vegetables, and fruits that grow in the gardens at the Villa. After tea, you can tour the Villa’s re-created first-century Roman gardens with knowledgeable docents. Reserve in advance—call (800) 369-3059 to reserve or email BonAppetitReservations@getty.edu.
