Working with LAFD for additional “Red Flag” signage for our neighborhood streets.

  • Jonathan Brand, member of the Community Police Advisory Board, meets monthly to discuss important security related topics for our neighborhood. Recent topics included: 

    • Proposed drone program for the West LA division area. 

    • Additional police enforcement in areas of frequent speeding.

  • Monitored Construction Violations:

    • Cuesta Way – road block was resolved. 

    • Ashdale Ave. – cement truck blocked roadway & left mess. Cleanup was requested. 

    • Please note:

      • Large deliveries: any large deliveries that involve a partial or complete road closure by a truck(s), REQUIRES a flagmen be hired for BOTH sides of the street.  

      • Hauling: Monday – Friday from 9am-3pm ONLY

      • Construction Violations: please report any suspected violations and the address to christina@belairassociation.org.

  • Provided meals for each of our local fire stations.

  • Additional “No Smoking Signs” installed throughout our community.

  • Reported abandoned vehicle on Bellagio & Moraga, working with DOT to have it removed. 

  • Reported missing yellow bollards on Glenroy & Sunset to DOT. There is a pending request to repair. 

  • Ongoing engagement with Parking Enforcement for more action and attention in areas where vehicles often park illegally, including Sarbonne & Somera.

  • Ongoing investigation of a recent house party on Linda Flora, including scheduling a meeting with affected residents. 

  • Volunteers went door knocking for membership renewals. 

  • Working with DWP to upgrade cell phone towers and infrastructure throughout our community.
